Fishnets and Floorshows, in partnership with the Screenland Theater, will begin monthly screenings of the Rocky Horror Picture Show on July 19th. These shows take place on the third Saturday of the month and the preshow starts at 10:00
Our screenings will offer a preshow, floorshow, and audience participation (please check FAQS for rules from the theater). This includes the virgin sacrifices! Email ahead if you want a little special treatment for that virgin in your life!
Tickets are only $8.00 with prop bags being offered for only $3.00. These tickets are available at the Screenland website or their box office at 1656 Washington in KCMO.
Screenings run about 2 hours.
The Screenland Theater offers a lit parking lot in a safe neighborhood. Additionally, you can ask any member of the Fishnets and Floorshows staff to walk you to your car. We are here for your safety.
Partici........pation is not only encouraged at Fishnets and Floorshows- it's REQUIRED! Don't be suprised if you are forcibly stood up if you aren't dancing the Time Warp.
A list of allowed items is forthcoming.
We encourage you to dress as your favorite character, your aunt mildred, or whoever/whatever you want! As long as its legal- come as you are/wish!
Please do keep in mind- we are respectful of our friends in the audience, and at no time will harassment be tolerated.
The only thing we ask as far as participation is that if you want to be part of the floor show you talk to a member of the staff first. In the middle of the show isn't exactly the best time. We are kinda busy.
