Kansas City has numerous theatres at which one can see and enjoy movies, ranging from the huge IMAX 3D screens to the smaller so-called "specialty" houses, also known as art theatres.

The Tivoli, Rio, Glenwood Arts, and, of course, the Screenland Crossroads consistently play movies geared for a discerning adult audience. In addition, the Studio 30 and the Palace 14 theatres sometimes play films in this category.

The Screenland Crown Center is the newest addition to the above group. Located conveniently on the third level of Kansas City's unique and beautiful Crown Center Complex Shops, we opened for business on Christmas Day of 2009.

Free parking is available just steps away from our box office. We share a concession area, bar, and lounge with The Off Center Theatre, which is a performance arts space that showcases edgy and innovative productions by some of the area's finest theatrical troupes.

We also expect to offer movies that can be edgy and innovative, and ones that can delight you, provoke you, educate you, and sometimes even thrill you. And most of all, we want to entertain you.

Our two auditoriums feature very comfortable seats, crystal clear digital sound, and the best picture that we can put on the screen. So, visit us. Have a glass of wine, or popcorn and a soda, and sit back and let the movie begin.
